You do have to be careful with painted surfaces, though, and you should always consider the surface before using Comet. To be extremely effective at cleaning grease, you have to mist the area with water and then sprinkle Comet on the surface.
The exception to this rule is the kitchen. Anything involved in food preparation should be thoroughly scrubbed down and disinfected with each use. This includes food preparation surfaces, utensils, cleaning cloths, and sponges.
Scuffs and marks on woodwork can be removed with a pencil eraser; these marks from shoes, wheels, or rubber bumping against things are hard to remove any other way but come off with ease with a rubber.
Toothpaste isn't just great for cleaning teeth; you can use it to remove stubborn ink, crayon, or scuff stains from any surface.
To steer clear of streaks on a large window, employ squeegee. Situate it at the top of the window and pull it down effortlessly. The trick for no streaks with the squeegee is introducing a dry rubber blade on the dry window.
